The audition will take place 23 and 24 October 2009 at the Symphonic Concert Hall at Musikhuset Aarhus (Concert Hall Aarhus), Skovgaardsgade 2C, DK-8000 Aarhus C, Denmark. The Aarhus Symphony Orchestra will provide a pianist on the day of the audition, but travelling expenses and expenses for accommodation must be met by the applicant.
Required:
• Mozart: 1st movement with cadenza of Concerto in G major, KV 313, or Concerto in D major, KV 314
• Piccolo A. Vivaldi: Piccolo Concerto in C major (RV 443): 2nd movement.
• Dutilleux: Sonatine for flute and piano
In addition hereto:Excerpts of orchestral literature and possibly ensemble playing.
Repertoire for this round will be sent electronically to the applicants after closing date for applications.
Salary:
Salary pursuant to the current agreements between the musicians’ union and the Danish regional symphony orchestras.
NB: Candidates are asked to keep themselves informed as to the current rules and regulations concerning work permit in Denmark.
