Candidates for the audition are requested to submit their applications, including a detailed resume stating their nationality (and a copy of residence and labour permit, if nessecary), before the closing dates as mentioned above. Please write the following code on your application: MSchairSaug09. Candidates must be citizens of the European Union, or possess an unrestricted residence and labour permit. The North Netherlands Symphony Orchestra (Noord Nederlands Orkest) is one of the largest symphony orchestras in The Netherlands with 90 musicians. Residing in Groningen, the orchestra gives approximately 120 concerts per season, mainly in the Northern part of The Netherlands. The orchestra has an adventurous programming and distinguishes itself as such in The Netherlands. Michel Tabachnik is chief conductor of the Noord Nederlands Orkest.
